An undercover agent's wife is kidnapped, and she manages to make a call to a complete stranger. She persuades him to help her. Her husband is being used as a pawn to assassinate the visiting Indian PM, and has to choose between his wife and offing the dignitary. Meanwhile a cop on the case has to choose between his job and his girlfriend's birthday party.
